Hi everybody!
This is my first post on this forum so fist of all, I'd like to say terima kasih to the developers of this map and forum and salam to all his members.
As I only know a few words in indonesian, hope you don't mind I write in english.
Well, after travelling for some time in Sumatra, Java, Sulawesi and Kalimantan on a motorbike using a previous version of navigasi map ( It should be from june 2011), I'm about to go back to Indonesia and I updated to V2.21 a few days ago.
I loaded the maps to both my garmin 278 and etrex legend HCX. The maps work fine in mapsource, no errors while uploading, but the screen only shows a flat black surface. No roads, waypoints or anything is displayed.
I tried to switch from original road mode to full customised mode. Now elevations are visible but still no roads or POI's.
This is the best map I found for Indonesia, very detailed and great coverage, so I'd like to be able to keep on using it.
Anybody experienced the same issue? Is there any solution for it? Is it possible to get the older version of the map? (it worked fine while I used it)
The garmin 278 has 3.5 software version, I'm using mapsource 6.16.3 on a laptop running windows 7 (if it helps to find the issue)

My advice, try your download again and re-install the previous version of 2.21, but get rid of the old version first.
And do not forget to check again the settings on the tab view on your MapSource.

Thanks Ricardo, that's what I'd like!
Isra, the installation was new,I had to format my laptop, so no previous versions. It works fine in the laptop, but even if the maps are loaded to the device with no problem, the screen shows nothing.

Hi Juan,
Have you tried create gmapsupp.img instead of Mapsource while extracting Navigasi.net V2.21NT?
Copy the result's file onto your GPS. In any case, I found MapSource create gmapsupp.img in \map that made GPS can't read the up-loaded map.

Hi Latlon, thanks for your advice! I forgot that an IMG file could be created while installing the map. It works with the etrex but not with the 278, which is the one I use on the bike, as its memory is not readable and maps can only be uploaded by using mapsource.
I tried also the program sendmap, but it fails again and again.
Is there any way to download an older version of Navigasi maps?
The one from june/july 2011 worked fine with my devices.

Solved!
I realized that if you click only on any map tile (ex. Nusa Tenggara Timur), the map tab (on the left side in mapsource) shows the name of the selected tile ending with (simple topomap).
BUT! If you drag the map selection tool. The maps are double for every tile (simple topomap) AND (streetmap).
It seems there are two layers and the default selection by clicking the map is only the topo one.
Maybe this is helpful.
