A big thank you for releasing your Indonesia map. It's really awesome and detailed.
I am a mapper from New Zealand and we have an open source NZ Garmin GPS map in public release for nearly two years now.

I have also being mapping other parts of the world and can really understand the many hundreds/thousand of hours that have gone into these maps as I had in mine.
I have mapped Laos, Vietnam, (parts of Thailand & Cambodia), Western Samoa and Niue(Pacific Islands).
I hope your readers may find these maps useful should they visit these countries.

setelah melihat di mapsource tampilannya ok banget top lah pokoke...
tp apakah temen2 sudah ada yg mencoba di e90 ? karena saya sudah mencobanya tp gambarnya gak muncul ? apakah perlu map id kalau perlu map id, map id yg diinstallkan berapa untuk kode desimalnya ?

I have a brother, mom, and dad living in Auckland for 25 years already, i hope in a near future could use your open source NZ Garmin maps while visiting them...Thanks before.
Members of team are trying to write an explantion in Englsih, hopefully soon enough.
BTW your Indoesian language is quite well understood and excellent.

Bung Fadlyp, petanya sudah saya coba di Mapsource dan Nokia 3230 dan berfungsi seperti sediakalanya tanpa halangan tidak diproteksi, sebaiknya berfungsi pula di Nokia E90 anda.
Metoda instalasi yang saya lakukan melalui Mapsource dan dikirim ke GMPC atau ke sebuah external USB flash, yang kemudian dapat juga anda copy paste kan ke GMXT karena yang terbentuk adalah sebuah file bernama gmapsupp.img.
Jangan lupa merubah nama file peta yang telah memiliki nama yang sama sebelumnya.

Thanks for your reply. Actually, I only know Bahasa Malaysia but B Indonesia has very similar words and grammar which makes it easy to follow.
However, haven't used that for nearly 20 yrs though!
Anyway, will be good to see you and other members here using the NZ maps as we and the community have put in a great effort to make these maps over the last two years. In fact, we were so successful that we won the NZ Open Source Software Awards last year! This year we achieved another great milestone in making the maps street number address searchable (numbering function).
Anyway, I have also made a post to promote your maps here, so hopefully the "Western world" will find out more about these maps and contribute corrections and POIs in future.

Salut, selamat, dan sukses untuk rekan2 team map developer Navigasi.Net yang telah membidani rilis peta Indonesia v53 tepat tanggal 17 Agustus 2008 lalu.
Bukan main... selama tanggal 17 Agustus tersebut nyaris gak bisa koneksi ke Navigasi.Net, rupanya karena besarnya minat para pendownload peta tersebut, hue..he..he...

Btw, saya masuk ke menu "Where To" > "Food, Hotels.." Trus, saya pilih "Shopping" atau "Ground Transportation atau "Lodging", dll.. Tapi kok selalu "None found" ya..
